LowKey Productions & Media helps independent artists build organized, market-ready careers through management, development, media, booking and production—without losing the identity that made the work matter.
LowKey was founded by Markee Richmond and Arlo Tate, family and creative partners whose working relationship began long before the company. Their foundation was formed in Richmond, California through Next Level—the three Tate brothers and their cousin Markee—where the group learned to create records, organize shows and build opportunities independently.
That work led to Paul Stewart and Power Move Productions. In 1997, Quincy Jones selected Next Level’s “I Don’t Know” to open the Sprung soundtrack. The lesson carried forward: lasting careers are built through preparation, loyalty, strong relationships and the ability to move with purpose.
